Meditative music grows in popularity among Toledoans

Upon first listen, music played at 432 hertz may sound like an innocuous drone, but to a growing number of Toledoans, it means reprieve.

The music is a tuning standard in which the note “A” above middle C is set to vibrate at 432 cycles per second. Fans of this music believe that the tuning frequency aligns with the natural frequency of the universe, thus producing a calming effect for their bodies.
