A 5-year-old boy died over the weekend after he rode his bike into the street in front of an oncoming car, police said.
Omein Jones, of the 100 block of East Woodruff Avenue, was hit when he rode his bike into the street in front of a car being driven by Artie Griffin, 71, of the 2700 block of Robinwood Avenue.
Mr. Griffin was driving west in the 500 block of Lucas Street when the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday. Omein was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he died…
