TOLEDO, Ohio — Lucas County students have another chance to register for some free school supplies.
More than one week after opening registration to its Tools for Schools program, the Salvation Army of Toledo, Ohio announced it is extending the program through the end of the July.
Registered students will be given basic school supplies and a new backpack. The Salvation Army says the hope is to even the playing field for children who otherwise would not be able to start schools with the tools needed to succeed…
