TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – It’s been a difficult week for Zayona Jackson’s family. Dozens of people joined a memorial walk in the neighborhood where she was killed, hoping to honor her memory.
“We just want closure, peace and justice for our daughter. That’s what we want for our daughter. She’s a loving angel,” said her father, Gregory Jackson.
Family and friends walked from Navarre Park to Weiler Homes, where police say Zayona was attending a vigil when an attempted robbery turned into a shootout. Investigators say she was not the intended target. She was caught in the crossfire…
