TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two vacant properties on Colburn Street have become a source of ongoing frustration for neighbors who say the homes are overrun with rats, covered in weeds and left to deteriorate for years without action from the city.
Terry Sancrant and J. Mykol, residents of Colburn Street, say the properties next to their homes have caving roofs, overgrown grass, trash, and animals, including rats and groundhogs, burrowing into surrounding yards.
“It’s basically falling apart. It’s covered in weeds, there’s animals living in there — rats, groundhogs,” Sancrant said. “The place is full of rats.”…
