The United Way of Greater Toledo is looking for volunteers help teachers prepare their classrooms for the first day of school.
The campaign, called Helping Our Heroes, takes place on Aug. 13. Volunteers will assist at Birmingham Elementary, Escuela SMART Academy, and Robinson Elementary to help teachers prepare their classrooms for the school year.
Volunteer opportunities begin at 9 a.m. at all three schools. Projects are available for both individuals and groups…
