MAUMEE, Ohio (WTVG) – Sunshine Communities has been serving people in our area with developmental disabilities and their families for more than 75 years.
It was started by a local couple who had five children with developmental disabilities. What started as a way for them to make sure their own children had the best care and opportunities possible, quickly grew into a place that has made that possible for tens of thousands of others through the years.
