A Bowling Green woman reportedly got in a police cruiser Saturday evening, and asked the officer to take her to a bar. She got a ride to Wood County Jail instead. A BGPD officer was conducting a traffic stop in City Lot 2, behind downtown businesses on the east side of the 100 block of South Main Street, around 7:14 p.m. The emergency lights on the police vehicle were activated.
