TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The First Alert Weather Team has issued 13 First Alert Weather Days for Tuesday through Thursday for the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms.
Round 1: Tuesday 7 PM – 11 PM
Scattered and potentially a couple of supercell severe thunderstorms develop this evening and will possibly carry on throughout the night. The first window for severe weather will be 7 PM – 11 PM as our atmosphere will have the most energy. There is a chance for heavy rain and potentially damaging wind gusts that could be over 70 mph. There is a chance for larger hail (less than 2″ in diameter) and a chance for an isolated tornado. Surface instability will lesson as the night carries on, but there is the potential that upper level instability could keep fueling some storms into early Wednesday morning…
