WATERVILLE, Ohio — A local preservation group has secured additional time to study alternatives to demolishing the historic Interurban Bridge at Roche de Boeuf after a meeting with Governor Mike DeWine on Tuesday.
The Save The Bridge Association met privately with DeWine Tuesday, following his address at Bowling Green State University’s Democracy and Public Policy Network. During the meeting, the group requested a one-year pause on plans to demolish the bridge, a longtime Northwest Ohio landmark.
