TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Toledo Public Schools Board of Education approved a plan Tuesday to help close a multi-million dollar budget gap.
Tuesday night, the board approved the district’s Transformation 2.0 Plan at an executive session meeting.
The Transformation 2.0 Plan includes closing six elementary schools (Pickett, Walbridge, Spring, Harvard, Westfield and Navarre) and transitioning seventh and eighth graders from Marshal, Old Orchard and Beverly to Start and Bowsher high schools…
