Trooper cited after U-turn crash on US 6

TOWNSEND TOWNSHIP – A Highway Patrol trooper has been cited for the collision he caused when making a U-turn on US 6.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at 1:28 p.m. April 26 on U.S. 6 at County Road 294 in Townsend Township, Sandusky County.

A Highway Patrol Dodge Charger, operated by Trooper Yousif Sabah, 23, was driving northeast when he observed a vehicle traveling southwest at more than 70 mph in a posted 55 mph zone.
