CARLETON, Mich. — Some residents in southeast Michigan felt the rumblings from a minor earthquake early Monday evening.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck northern Monroe County just west of Carleton around 5:32 p.m.
Tremors were reported throughout the Monroe County and neighboring areas, with low intensity being detected as far south as Toledo.
This is the second earthquake reported in the area this year…
