Man gets statutory life term for infant’s murder

A mother whose infant daughter died at her boyfriend’s hands tearfully regretted her relationship with him before his sentencing Monday to a life prison sentence.

“I’ll never forgive myself for letting that monster be a part of [Winsley’s] life,” Kylie Raymundo said in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Alexander Butler, 24, of the 5000 block of South Avenue, will be eligible for parole after 15 years, with credit given for 287 days he had already spent in jail after his arrest for felonious assault and endangering children…
