Irvington, Palo Verde reopen after propane leak

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Deputies and fire crews responded to a hazmat situation near East Irvington Road and South Palo Verde Road in Pima County on Thursday, July 2.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it responded to a propane leak around 3:30 p.m. By 4:40 p.m., crews had stopped the leak.

The PCSD said the intersection was closed, and several businesses were evacuated. By 5 p.m., the roadway was back open, and the people were allowed to go back into the businesses…
