JEROME, AZ (AZFamily) — A restaurant that has sat inside a historic Arizona hotel for over two decades has shut its doors.
Jerome Grand Hotel owners, Larry Altherr and Ken Elliott, shared on its Facebook page that the long-standing restaurant that has called the hotel home, Asylum Restaurant, closed permanently. The restaurant’s last day was July 27.
Hotel owners took to social media to clarify information surrounding the restaurant’s surprise closure. The hotel was reportedly told on the morning of July 28 that the restaurant would be closing “effective immediately.”…
