TPD says student detained after reports of weapon; no weapon found

The Tucson police Department confirmed officers arrived at Santa Rita High School after there were “reports student with weapons.”

Officers currently have the student detained, TPD said.

“No mention of the weapons has been found,” a police offical said.

TPD says it is still early in the investigation.
