PCC opens $1.2M training center to prepare students for skilled trades

Pima Community College has opened a newly expanded Building and Construction Technology Center, aimed at preparing students for careers in skilled trades through hands-on training.

The 25,000-square-foot facility, located at the college’s downtown campus, was funded in part by more than $1.2 million in federal funding and is designed to expand workforce training opportunities across Southern Arizona.
