FIRST ALERT WEATHER – The heat returns and dry thunderstorms are possible

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Another day of sunny skies and warm temperatures as we climb back into the 90s this afternoon. Some moisture will result in a chance of mainly dry storms/thunderstorms this afternoon near the White Mountains. Otherwise, warm and dry for much of the week and into the weekend.

We’ll stay above average tomorrow, and it looks like the warmest day of the week.

A system from the Pacific Northwest then sweeps across the northern part of our area, bringing cooler temperatures and gustier winds. With the gusty winds, low relative humidity, and very dry conditions, elevated to critical fire danger returns. We’ll keep an eye out for any watches or warnings and will be the first to alert you…
