2 men arrested for armed carjacking attempt at Tucson Premium Outlets, police report

MARANA, Ariz. — Two men are in custody following an attempted armed carjacking early Thursday morning at the Tucson Premium Outlets, according to the Marana Police Department.

Officers responded to the parking lot around 4:30 a.m. on April 23, after receiving a report of an armed carjacking attempt. A man told police he had been confronted while near his 2025 Ford Mustang. The suspect pointed a rifle at him and struck him with the weapon, but the suspect was unable to start the car.
