Nancy Guthrie case: Sheriff, victim’s family not in direct contact

(NewsNation) — The Arizona police official overseeing the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance says he’s no longer directly communicating with the missing woman’s family.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos tells People magazine the FBI is instead having conversations with “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings about the case, which he suggests may be approaching a breakthrough more than 100 days in.
