Overflowing trash remains an issue at Vesta-owned apartment complexes in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — It’s been one week since it was reported that the Vesta owned properties were having issues with their trash management. It has been two weeks since residents and the properties have had no real garbage cans.

The temporary red construction bins are filled to the brim. Denice Woods, a resident of Woodland Manor, said the trash brought a disgusting, new problem.

“The other day, I was out and saw maggots,” said Woods. “I was not happy at all. It goes back to [them] not doing the bare minimum that is required for public health.”…
