Downtown Tulsa plans illuminated ‘Echo Alley’ public art installation

TULSA, Okla. – Downtown Tulsa Partnership is planning a new permanent public art installation designed to improve walkability, increase the visibility of public art and enhance safety through creative lighting in an underused downtown alley.

The project, called Echo Alley, is planned for the East Reconciliation Way alley between Main Street and Boston Avenue in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District. Installation is expected in fall 2026.

Where Echo Alley will be located

The installation will transform the alley on the north side of East Reconciliation Way between Main Street and Boston Avenue into a new public destination.

The corridor sits near several popular downtown businesses, including The Tavern and Valkyrie. It also includes the entrance to Bull in the Alley and provides a connection to the NYU Tulsa campus…
