July’s “She’s in the Game” segment, presented by Green Country Chevy Dealers, features Okmulgee rodeo star Piper Toon.
Toon began riding horses at age 3 after her mother, Heather Toon, a horse trainer and barrel racer, introduced her to the sport.
“She really didn’t have much of a choice to ride. I threw her on a horse when she was 3 years old,” Heather Toon said. “I never had to force her to ride. She’s always asked to ride. She’s always had the drive.”…
