Oklahoma Veterans United hosts annual fundraiser, earns national award nomination
TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma Veterans United is gearing up for its annual fundraising dinner next month while also drawing national attention as a finalist for a 2026 service award that recognizes organizations making a difference for veterans and civil servants.
The Tulsa-based nonprofit, which works to connect Oklahoma veterans with housing, mental health, and employment resources, was named a finalist in the Veteran and Civil Servant Outreach category of the 2026 Defender Service Awards presented by Chase.
