Coweta family fears for children after dog is shot in backyard
COWETA, Okla. – A Coweta family is asking for answers after their 3-year-old Shetland sheepdog was shot while their two children were playing in the backyard.
The Turner family says Elizabeth and William were outside with their dogs when they heard a pop. The children initially thought they heard a gunshot and quickly brought the dogs inside. The family says they later discovered Apollo had been seriously injured.
