GLENPOOL, Okla. – Flames fromthe tank fire in Glenpool were visible from ten miles away, and the smoke plume was visible from much further, drawing a crowd of spectators to watch the spectacle.
Along the neighborhood at 133rd Street South, neighbors who had lived there during previous fires were grateful the wind appeared to be carrying the fumes and any soot away from their homes.
