Man drowns at Keystone Lake’s Party Cove after wading in to cool off, OHP says

PAWNEE COUNTY, Okla. — A Tulsa man drowned at Keystone Lake’s Party Cove after wading into the water to cool off and never resurfacing, Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Christian Becerra-Ledezma, 26, had been riding an ATV along the shore when he walked into the water. His body was found in approximately 9 feet of water.

OHP activated its dive team for recovery. Becerra-Ledezma was recovered around 7:15 p.m. and transported to the Tulsa Medical Examiner’s office…
