TULSA, (Okla.) — Will Tulsa taxpayers ever see accountability after paying $26 million dollars to settle the case of a man who served 24 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit? It’s a question we’ve been asking for almost a year, and so far no one at city hall wants to answer the question.
It’s been ten months since Henry Jamerson settled with the city of Tulsa for a record-breaking $26 million dollars for his wrongful conviction in the 1991 rape of a 16 year-old.
