SEVEN FEATHERS BUSINESS: Thompson takes innovative, entrepreneurial aim at housing shortage

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Cherokee Nation citizen Amanda Thompson, a nurse-turned-entrepreneur, is facing down the affordable-housing crisis through an innovative approach. In recognition of her work, she is the 2026 Cherokee Phoenix Seven Feathers Business Award honoree.

Thompson, 42, of Broken Arrow, is the CEO and co-founder of Skiatook, Oklahoma-based Prime Craftsman Homes with her husband, Jake.

“Whenever I got that email saying that our business was chosen for the Seven Feathers award, I was completely shocked and just humbled and super excited,” she said.
