Tulsa theater company reimagines classic ‘Anne of Green Gables’

TULSA, Okla. — A familiar literary classic is returning to the Tulsa stage with a different perspective as local theater company Pembroke Players brings its original adaptation of Anne of Green Gables back to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

The production runs October 8 through October 25 and puts a contemporary spin on the beloved story by using imaginative staging and a younger version of Anne to represent the character’s inner thoughts and feelings.
