TULSA, Okla. — A hail of gunfire left one family’s home and cars riddled with bullets.
Last week, Tulsa Police arrested two teenagers for shooting up a home near 21st and 129th, more than once, with rifles.
“This time they came and it was 30 gun casings,” said Erica Ponce.
Ponce said the cars in her driveway look like they were in a war zone.
“My car is undriveable, they hit the tires, the window and that car. My son’s truck got hit in the tank,” Ponce said.
Police said using K-9s and the police helicopter, officers were able to find the two teenagers and arrest them. One is 14 years old; the other is 16.
No one was hurt, but Ponce tells FOX23 it was close.
“One of the bullets went through my neighbor’s house and a girl was sleeping there and then they called the cops,” she said.
Police said some of these bullet holes may have come from an AK-47.
Ponce said this has been going on since almost last summer.
“It was every weekend,” Ponce said. “I think since September.”
Ponce said her family doesn’t know who has been doing all the shooting.
