TULSA, OKLA — TORNADO WATCH: Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Hughes, McIntosh, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Payne, Pittsburg, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington, Montgomery (KS), and Labette (KS) counties 9 p.m.
Mostly a damaging wind and large hail threat with the strongest storms. Tornado threat will not be zero with any storms that develop this evening across Green Country. The severe threat will diminish after midnight with a lingering slight storm chance through the early morning hours. Lows by daybreak will reach the low 60s.
Thursday should be quieter, though still warm and humid. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the low to mid-80s, and breezy south winds will continue. A few isolated showers remain possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected…
