TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Audubon Society shared that over 27 million birds flew over the State of Oklahoma Saturday night and Sunday night could see another major migration.
Millions of birds are doing some overnight traveling, and we’re in the Central Flyway.
The Tulsa Audubon Society said that birds flying at night can get confused by bright lights, leading to deaths. However, there is something you can do to help them have a safe migration.
Turn off unnecessary outside lights, close your curtains and blinds, keep your pets inside overnight, support bird-friendly spaces, and if you need outdoor lighting, try to use motion sensors…
