Muscogee Nation exploring fire department as public safety expansion continues
Muscogee Nation Principal Chief David Hill said the nation is continuing to expand its justice and public safety operations while strengthening partnerships with Tulsa and other municipalities.
During an interview with News On 6, Hill discussed how cooperation with the city has evolved in recent years following legal uncertainty surrounding tribal jurisdiction, along with future plans that could include expanded law enforcement resources and even a tribal fire department.
