Vancouver Fire Crews Stop Outbuilding Blaze from Reaching Nearby Home

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Quick action by firefighters prevented a fire from spreading to a nearby home after three outbuildings became fully engulfed in flames Friday evening in east Vancouver.

At approximately 7 p.m. on May 29, Vancouver Fire Department crews responded to reports of an outbuilding fire at 16603 SE Fisher Drive. When the first engine arrived on scene, firefighters found three small outbuildings completely involved in fire.

Crews immediately launched an aggressive attack on the blaze and were able to contain the flames before they reached a nearby residence. Fire officials said the coordinated response successfully limited damage to the three outbuildings…
