PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – One person was rescued while firefighters battled a house fire in southeast Portland early Monday morning.
At about 5:30 a.m., Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to a fire at Southeast 88th Avenue and Southeast Liebe Street. Crews found heavy fire when they arrived to the home.
PF&R said crews rescued a man from the roof at the back of the home. The man suffered a cut to his arm but refused medical treatment at the scene.
By 6:20 a.m., the fire had been extinguished. Crews were continuing to work on hot spots and remove smoldering debris from the home…
