PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland suburbs have welcomed one of the first combined stores from two prominent retailers.
Bed Bath & Beyond recently named Tigard among the 22 cities in which its “co-branded” locations with The Container Store would soon open. This comes months after the home goods chain announced its acquisition of the specialty retailer that sells organization products.
“Our customers don’t think about their homes in categories,” Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. Executive Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis said in a statement on Thursday. “For decades, customers have had to visit multiple retailers, websites and service providers to complete a single home project. One company for bedding, another for storage, another for closets, another for installation. That model no longer works.”…
