PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man was sentenced on Wednesday for shooting and killing a “disruptive” TriMet bus passenger in 2021, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office announced.
Wayne Conrad Thompson, 51, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 25 years for the death of Adrian Anastacio Richardson.
Thompson’s sentencing comes after a Multnomah County grand jury found him guilty of second-degree murder in June, with Circuit Court Judge Kelly Skye additionally finding Thompson guilty of felon in possession of a firearm.
