Fight over youths riding dirt bikes in the street leads to shooting, arrest in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. — Deputies arrested a man accused of firing a gun during an argument over youths riding dirt bikes in the street in a Northeast Vancouver neighborhood, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

Reports game in at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday for a shooting near the 800 block of Northeast 142nd Avenue, south of Padden Parkway.

Deputies talked with someone who had a grazing wound. They learned that an argument broke out in the neighborhood over juveniles riding dirt bikes in the street, and that the suspect fired one bullet. Investigators found one .380 caliber casing at the scene…
