PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person was killed, and two others were injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in Southeast Portland, authorities said.
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said they responded to a reported shooting at 2:49 a.m. near Southeast Water Avenue and Southeast Caruthers Street.

PPB said when they arrived at the scene, they found multiple injured people. One person was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and is expected to recover. PPB said the second injured person was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. The extent of the second person’s injuries is unknown.
