CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – LS Greenlink, a spinoff from Korean industrial giant LG, has two major projects in the works that, combined, total more than $1.3 billion, including what will soon be the tallest building in the Commonwealth.
LS GreenLink breaks ground on tallest building in Virginia
For now, only construction workers are buzzing around the base of the LS Greenlink tower adjacent to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. When it’s complete, only birds will be able to buzz around the top. It will soar 660 feet, taller than any other Virginia structure, and the tallest between Philadelphia and Charlotte.
Why so tall?
