NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk jury convicted a woman of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a 57-year-old man near Military Circle in January 2024, prosecutors said.
47-year-old Shantika Atara Davis was found guilty after a two-day trial in the death of Clarence Edward Jefferson. She is set to be sentenced on August 7.
According to evidence presented at trial, Jefferson was with several people on January 8, 2024, near North Military Highway when an unidentified man began attacking him.
