CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Residents in Chesapeake’s Hickory and Woodard Mills areas are voicing concerns about a proposed lithium battery storage facility planned near homes and schools.
East Point Energy is proposing the Mill Stone Energy Center, a battery energy storage facility that would span 31 acres on a 112-acre property near Hickory Middle and Hickory High schools.
