HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. — Two Halifax County natives wanted in connection to dozens of copper wire thefts have been arrested in Virginia following a multi-agency investigation.
According to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Portsmouth Police Department and the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division apprehended Mark Peterson Jr. and Ashlie Baggett on May 30.
