VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A fire damaged a building on Pembroke Boulevard Tuesday evening, the Virginia Beach Fire Department said.
Around 8:28 p.m., fire department and EMS units were sent to the 4600 block of Pembroke Boulevard for a report of a commercial structure fire, and when firefighters got there, they saw white smoke and flames from the exterior of a storefront at a single-story strip mall.
Crews were able to get the fire under control by 8:52 p.m., and it was completely out by 9:37 p.m…
