CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Fire Department is investigating after a boat and vehicle were on fire Monday evening at an auto repair shop.
Crews responded to reports of heavy smoke coming from Automotive Authority, located at 3934 Holland Boulevard, at approximately 7:05 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found a boat on fire inside one bay of the building and a vehicle on fire in an adjacent bay.
Crews deployed multiple hoselines and quickly extinguished the fire. Fire officials said the fire was contained to the two affected bays and brought under control around 7:25 p.m.
The business was closed during the incident, and no occupants were found inside the building. There were no injuries reported…
