PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY)– Police in Portsmouth are investigating an overnight shooting.
Officers were called to that shooting, in the 1100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue, just before 4 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they located a juvenile female with a gunshot wound.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
Police have not released any suspect information…
