SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police in Somerset County said they arrested a wanted Virginia fugitive and suspected criminal gang member Tuesday, July 21, after tracking him to a Budget Inn.
According to a Somerset County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Travis S. Jefferson was wanted by authorities in Norfolk, Virginia, and was considered armed and dangerous. Officers added that he was wanted on charges including unlawful wounding, narcotics distribution and use, driving with a suspended license and probation violation.
Jefferson was taken into custody after police made entry into his hotel room at the Budget Inn in Somerset, according to the post.
