According to the Hampton Police Division, the shooting happened on June 5 in the 700 block of North King Street. Officers were called to the scene around 5 p.m., where they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the injuries were not considered life-threatening. The victim was taken to a local hospital by Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue personnel for treatment.
